Valuable find in a charity shop
According to The Sun: The plate, which initially cost only £2, was sold for over £7,000 after it was discovered to belong to the 19th century. The blue and yellow plate with five dragons ended up in a charity shop in Dorset and was supposed to be sold for a token price.
Unexpected impressions from expertise
The shop manager decided to consult experts to learn more about the item. It turned out that the plate is very valuable to collectors.
“I was shocked when I found out how much it was actually worth,” said the manager.
This case proves that even in charity shops, you can find true treasures. Such finds encourage people to review their old belongings and consult specialists, as they may hide unique items with great historical value.
