According to The Sun: Considering starting your own business? This is great news for the hospitality industry, as demand for certain enterprises is expected to grow.
GettyBusiness expert Alison Edgar, who advises winners of the shows Dragon's Den and The Apprentice, noted that there is increasing interest in cafes, rental bakeries, and wine bars, as people appreciate unique local experiences more.
Other attractive sectors include IT, beauty, and aesthetics, where popularity is rising, entry barriers are low, and innovation is constant.
Startup representatives are actively implementing artificial intelligence to solve practical problems, while salon owners compete for customers by offering high-quality services at affordable prices. People are starting businesses based on their passions and customer demands.

According to a study by Smart Energy GB, 35% of surveyed adults plan to start their own business soon. Among Generation Z, 70% aspire to have their own business in the future.
Reasons for Entrepreneurship
Among the reasons prompting the creation of small businesses, 43% indicated flexibility in working hours, 43% – the ability to be their own boss, and 38% – enjoyment from their favorite work. 37% of respondents mentioned interest in potential earnings, while 35% seek greater control over their work process.
However, nearly one-third (30%) cited unpredictable incomes as the biggest problem in their business, and 21% noted insufficient funds to cover expenses. Other concerns involve low customer numbers (37%) and shortage of money (36%), according to a survey by OnePoll.com.
Victoria Bacon, director of Smart Energy GB, noted: “The research shows that people planning to start a business understand the benefits, but are also familiar with the pressures, particularly around financial management.”
“One way to help entrepreneurs manage cash flow is to install a smart meter that measures energy consumption in real-time, providing accurate bills rather than estimates.”
To start, 68% of respondents plan to seek advice from entrepreneurial friends (21%), from organizations supporting entrepreneurs (20%), or from family members (17%). However, 30% admitted that a lack of funding currently prevents them from realizing their business ideas.
