Grealish will not play against Man City: what the most popular midfielder in Dream Team should do.
According to The Sun: The international break continues, but Dream Team managers are already starting to think about important questions.
One of the most important is that Jack Grealish (£3.8m) will not be able to score any points in Gameweek 8.
Dream TeamGrealish will miss matches until October 26.
The 30-year-old attacking midfielder has shown good form since the start of his loan at Everton, providing four assists in seven league matches and scoring a crucial goal in stoppage time against Crystal Palace, confirming his recovery.
Unfortunately, David Moyes will not be able to rely on Grealish for the game against Manchester City this Saturday, as loan players are not allowed to play against their parent clubs.
Nine clubs will participate in two matches of Gameweek 8, but Everton is not among them, so Grealish will only be able to score points in the next match when Tottenham visits Hill Dickinson Stadium in Gameweek 9.
GettyThis is a big problem since Grealish is the most popular midfielder in Dream Team.
Only Erling Haaland (£7.9m) has a larger ownership percentage among all assets.
MOST SELECTED PLAYERS IN DREAM TEAM (% OWNERSHIP)
- 63% – Erling Haaland
- 38.3% – Jack Grealish
- 37.5% – Mohamed Salah
- 30.2% – Micky van de Ven
- 29.6% – Antoine Semenyo
- 26.6% – Joao Pedro
- 24.2% – Ricardo Calafiori
- 23.1% – Marc Guehi
Thus, many Dream Team managers will face difficulties before the Gameweek 8 deadline, which ends at 11:00 this Saturday (October 18).
Accepting a zero score will be unacceptable for many, so it is likely that some will make transfers to replace Grealish.

However, some managers may hesitate to drop him at this point, as his price will likely rise after the Gameweek 8 deadline considering he scored 12 points in his last game.
Therefore, it may be worth considering another option.
This season, Dream Team managers can use the Replacement feature to temporarily substitute a player who is not participating in a match.
This can be utilized by keeping Grealish and waiting for him to play against Manchester City on Saturday, then activating Replacements to substitute him for the rest of the week.
Replacement options will be limited as you can only choose those who have not yet taken the field.
However, since Everton will start their match at 15:00 on Saturday, this opens up opportunities with Fulham, Arsenal, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Manchester United, West Ham, and Brentford.
Among these clubs, Arsenal, Tottenham, Villa, and Liverpool will also play in Europe midweek.
Don't forget, Replacement is only active during the game week.
For example, if you substitute Grealish for Joao Palhinha (£3.8m), he will score points in matches against Villa and Monaco before Grealish returns to play in Gameweek 9.
The reaction of over a third of managers to Grealish's absence will be an important topic of discussion this game week.
