The Second Global Peace Summit postponed from November 2024
According to the advisor to the head of the President's Office, Daria Zarivna, the Second Global Peace Summit, scheduled for November 2024, will not take place as expected. She noted that all preparatory work must be completed by this Time, although the summit itself will not be held in November.
Currently, thematic conferences are being held on each aspect of the "Peace Formula", which will result in key documents for the future peace plan. These documents will be presented at the Second Peace Summit.
It was also announced that the last thematic conference dedicated to humanitarian issues will be held on October 30-31 in Canada.
Earlier, it was reported that there was an intention to invite Russia to the second Peace Summit, where a plan to end the war, prepared by Ukraine, was to be discussed.
The first Global Peace Summit, which took place in Switzerland on June 15-16, gathered about 100 delegations from around the world. An outcome communique was signed, mentioning nuclear and food security, as well as the return of all hostages and prisoners of war.
