Central defender of PSG Illya Zabarny became the cause of a loud scandal during the club's negotiations with the French. At his request to kick out Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov, who was offered a backup role, the goalkeeper refused. In light of this conflict, there was a misunderstanding between the wives of Zabarny and Safonov when Russian fans depicted an insult towards Angelina Zabarny. In a resonant post on Zabarny's Telegram channel, the footballer's wife compared the Russians to 'garbage', which caused even more tension in the team, where discussions were already underway about the possible transfer of Safonov. In turn, the wife of the Russian goalkeeper Marina Kondratiuk admitted that she is in a state of anxiety for her husband and refused to comment on the situation to avoid escalating it. The events show how a conflict between players can sometimes reflect on their personal relationships and relationships with fans.
