Duda commented on the concessions Ukraine must make for peace.

The President of Poland on the need for compromises between Ukraine and Russia
In an interview for Euronews, the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, stated that compromises from both sides are necessary to achieve peace between Ukraine and Russia.
'This must be a compromise. Neither side should consider itself the winner in this war, as each must make concessions,' Duda noted.
The President of Poland added that Ukraine must also make concessions, as this is likely to happen, but he did not specify the extent.
Duda emphasized that the war is damaging both countries and only the United States can play a key role in establishing peace.
'Only American pressure can stop this war and help establish a peace that will not be comfortable for either side,' Duda said.
It was recently reported that the administration of Donald Trump presented Ukraine with a document containing a peace proposal that includes recognizing Russia's control over Crimea and easing sanctions against Moscow.
In response, President Zelensky stated that Ukraine does not recognize the occupation of Crimea and will continue to stand firm on its position regarding sovereignty.
According to the Financial Times, some European officials express concerns about Trump's unilateral 'peace agreement' as it may threaten security and even disrupt the NATO summit.
Representatives of European states have confirmed their position on Ukraine's sovereignty and stated that they will not make decisions that contradict Zelensky's stance.
Analysis:
In this interview, President of Poland Andrzej Duda expressed his opinion on peace between Ukraine and Russia. He emphasized that achieving peace requires compromises from both sides. Duda also noted the role of the USA as a key player in establishing peace. However, it is worth noting that some European officials express their concerns regarding Trump's proposal, as it may impact security and even disrupt the NATO summit. In any case, the peaceful resolution of the conflict remains a relevant topic, but achieving it continues to be a challenging task.
