Ukraine has secured agreements for additional support packages worth $2 billion during the meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine Defense in the Ramstein format. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky. He also thanked all partners and defense ministers from 50 countries for the productive meeting.
Zelensky noted that Ukraine has received support of $2 billion and already has eight strategic coalitions that back this support. He also mentioned that the issue of continuing the Ramstein format was not discussed during the meeting, but he expressed hope that this platform would continue its work.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni in Rome. Before the meeting, they exchanged handshakes.
Meeting with President of Italy Sergio Mattarella
Tomorrow, January 10, Volodymyr Zelensky will meet with President of Italy Sergio Mattarella. During the meeting, issues of defense support, an international conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine, coordination of international efforts to achieve peace, and Euro-Atlantic integration will be discussed.
