Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers can receive 170,000 hryvnias monthly: who is entitled to bonuses.
Members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are entitled to additional payments if they participate in defending their homeland from hostile aggression. There are two options for bonuses, which in total exceed 150,000 hryvnias.
This is stated in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 168.
Payments for combat actions
In addition to the basic part of the financial support in the Armed Forces, which applies to all servicemen, those military personnel participating in defending the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine can receive additional payments.
For such soldiers, there is a differentiated payment, which, depending on whether the serviceman is in headquarters or on the front line, is calculated in three amounts:
- 30,000 hryvnias;
- 50,000 hryvnias;
- 100,000 hryvnias.
This amount is calculated based on the number of days in a month that the soldier participates in combat actions or performs special tasks.
Full month on the front - additional payment
Moreover, there is a separate bonus for those military personnel who spend the entire month on the line of combat engagement.
The size of this bonus is 70,000 hryvnias.
Thus, the maximum total of two bonuses for a serviceman amounts to 170,000 hryvnias per month.
Recall that we previously wrote about what changed in payments in the Ukrainian army from July 1.
Additionally, we reported about the dates when money is expected to arrive for servicemen in August 2025.
The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine establishes the possibility of receiving additional payments for servicemen participating in defending the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country. Under the terms of the resolution, servicemen can receive up to 170,000 hryvnias monthly if they perform special tasks and are on the front line for a full month.Read also
