According to ТСН: The heads of the governments of Pakistan and India supported the false information from Russia about the alleged 'attack' of Ukrainian drones on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This fact prompted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to summon the chargé d'affaires of both countries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine confirmed the information about the summoning of diplomats.

The Ukrainian side conveyed to the representatives of India and Pakistan that such statements are unacceptable.

‘We hope that the leaders of these countries will express deep concern about the real attacks by the Russian Federation on civilian objects in Ukraine and solidarity with Ukraine, against which Russia has been waging unjustified and unprovoked aggression for four years.’

Earlier, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, commenting on Russia's statement about an alleged Ukrainian attack, characterized it as a 'despicable act' that 'poses a serious threat to peace, security, and stability.' He expressed solidarity with Vladimir Putin and his government.

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, also emphasized his 'deep concern regarding reports of an attack' on Putin's residence.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine noted that similar political and diplomatic measures were also taken by the embassies of Ukraine in the United Arab Emirates and Central Asian countries, conveying the position of our state regarding the unacceptability of supporting Russian propaganda and attempts by the Russian Federation to disrupt the peace process.

Not long ago, Sergiy Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, accused Ukraine of launching a drone attack on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod region.

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) refuted the truth of these statements, noting the lack of visual evidence.

This situation illustrates how international relations can be complicated by disinformation. The interaction between the diplomatic circles of Ukraine and countries that express support for Russian narratives calls for caution and a clear response to false information. Such events may contribute to a better understanding of the real threats in the modern world.
