Expert Flash on winter in Kyiv: the temperature in apartments may drop to +5.
Weather forecast for winter amidst power outages
According to inkorr.com: Sergiy Beskrestnov, a military expert better known by the pseudonym 'Flash', told residents of Kyiv what this winter could be like. He reported that the temperature in apartments could drop to +5 degrees, and power supply would be interrupted every few hours.
'All officials say: 'Kyiv residents, prepare yourselves, this winter will be the hardest', but no one goes beyond general phrases,' the expert noted.
Flash also warned of possible overloads on the energy grid due to the active use of electric heaters. He believes that Russian troops are trying to create chaos in the capital, so he urges residents to remain calm and support the actions of the authorities.
- there will be no hunger;
- there will be fuel;
- there will likely be water too.
The expert emphasized that the Kyiv city hall plans to ensure the uninterrupted operation of hospitals, kindergartens, and critical infrastructure. Additionally, mobile communication and the Internet will continue to function.
- purchase generators and extension cords together with neighbors or alone;
- ensure a fuel supply;
- consider the possibility of purchasing autonomous diesel heaters.
Previously, 'Flash' urged residents not to leave the city in winter and to prepare for difficult conditions. He emphasized the importance of having backup options in case it becomes necessary to leave the capital.
Kyiv residents received a warning from 'Flash' about a potentially challenging winter when it could be cool in apartments, and electricity would be periodically turned off. It is important to prepare in advance and follow the expert's recommendations to ensure comfort and safety.
Preparing for winter challenges, especially in conditions of unstable electricity supply, is becoming an expensive affair. It is crucial for Kyiv residents to know how to prepare properly and provide themselves with everything necessary. The authorities, in turn, promise to support the critical infrastructure, which should mitigate the negative consequences of possible electricity supply disruptions. This will show how resilient the capital is in facing winter hardships and energy challenges.
