Raducanu needed a doctor on court again: what happened in the match in China.
Health problems in the match in Ningbo
According to The Sun: Emma Raducanu needed medical assistance during her first match at the tournament in Ningbo.
This was her first game after withdrawing from the previous tournament in Wuhan due to dizziness in extreme heat.
Tennis Channel Sky Sports TennisIn the middle of the second set in the match against world number 219 Zhu Lin, she called for a doctor.
Raducanu, who is 22 years old, was again experiencing difficulties with temperatures and 90% humidity, just like a week ago.
The doctor and physiotherapist urgently went on court when the score in the second set was 4-3, right after Raducanu had leveled the score.
The physiotherapist checked her pulse and blood pressure as she wrapped herself in a towel.
This time she was able to continue the game.
However, after she held her serve to 4-4, she was unable to maintain it, winning the first set 6-3.
Emma went to the bathroom for a long break before the third set.
At the beginning of the decisive set, she often leaned down and held her lower back.
Raducanu, who is now ranked 29th in the world, was previously checked for blood pressure, temperature, sweat responses, and pulse during the assessment on court against Ann Li last Tuesday.
However, trailing 6-1 4-1, she was unable to continue the match and left the court.
