Jonathan Rose rejected Jamaica's offer: the player wants to join the England national team.
According to The Sun: England U21 star Jonathan Rose has received an offer to play for Jamaica.
Steve McClaren, former England manager and current coach of 'Reggae Boys', offered the Bologna striker a chance to play at the international level.

However, the former Norwich winger wants to join the senior national team under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel before the next World Cup and turned down Jamaica's offer.
This is already the second failure for McClaren, who also did not get consent from Mason Greenwood of Marseille.
Greenwood initially wanted to change his national allegiance from England but later changed his mind.
Rose, who can play for Jamaica through his mother, played alongside Greenwood at Marseille last season.
However, he was placed on the transfer list after a conflict with teammate Adrien Rabiot last month.
Rose's first match in Serie A for Bologna is scheduled for Sunday against AC Milan, who recently signed Rabiot, so they may meet again at 'San Siro'.
The striker's career began in 2021 when he joined Norwich's first team after seven years in the youth team.
After scoring 13 goals and providing five assists in 56 matches at 'Carrow Road', Rose was loaned to Marseille in 2024.

Thus, Rose remains in search of opportunities for the development of his career at the international level, hoping to break into the England national team. However, competition for this position is very high, and his main task now is to showcase his abilities in the new Serie A season.
