Return of the English Open
According to The Sun: The next event in the Snooker ranking calendar is the English Open, which will take place again in Brentwood.
Defending champion Neil Robertson secured victory against Chinese player Wu Yize in the final last year, winning 9-7.

To defend the title from Stephen Hendry, Robertson must maintain a high level of play, as the world number ten Judd Trump and reigning world champion Zhao Xintong are also contending for the title.
Notably, seven-time world champion O'Sullivan has decided not to participate in this year's tournament in his hometown.
The English Open is the first of four tournaments in the Home Nations Series where players compete for substantial prizes.
