Departure of Erik ten Hag's assistant
According to The Sun: Erik ten Hag's assistant, Mitchell van der Gaag, has been dismissed from his position at the Swiss club FC Zurich. This decision was made just a few weeks after Ten Hag himself left his post as head coach of Bayer Leverkusen following an unsuccessful run in two matches.
The 54-year-old Dutchman joined FC Zurich this summer but is already leaving the club, which is currently in eighth place in the table.
Van der Gaag's departure occurs amid the team's unstable results, causing concern among fans and club management. FC Zurich hopes to find a new specialist who can steer the team back on the right path in the championship.
