This information was announced by the President of the European Council, António Costa, during a press conference in Uzhhorod, where he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Costa emphasized the importance of intensifying sanctions pressure on Russia to stop the war. Preparations for new restrictions have already begun in Brussels, and representatives of Europe are heading to Washington to collaborate with American partners.
'We are working with Americans and other partners to increase pressure through new sanctions. Work on the new package of restrictions has begun, and our European team is heading to Washington to work together with American allies,' noted the President of the Euro Council.
Support for Ukraine and its path to the European Union
