First impressions of the new club

In an interview with the Brazilian publication Globo during the international break, he spoke about his wonderful start at 'Stamford Bridge'.

Estevao said: “The relationships here (in Brazil) are very good with everyone. Of course, I am closer to Joao Pedro and Andre Santos since we are together every day at 'Chelsea'.”

The Brazilian expressed satisfaction with the freedom that Chelsea's coach Carlo Ancelotti has given him:

“He gave me all the freedom in the world to play football, to be myself.”

Victory and adaptation

Estevao is quickly getting into the game. After moving to 'Chelsea' for £29 million, he debuted in the opening match of the season against 'Crystal Palace', becoming the youngest player to assist in a Premier League match for 'the Blues'. The team won 5-1.

The Brazilian also kept his place in the starting lineup for the match against 'Fulham', where the team won 2-0.

“I heard that little song. But the affection I see from the fans – not only from them but from the coaching staff, everyone at 'Chelsea' – is incredible.”

Estevao is pleased with his progress in the English language:

“I already see a lot of improvements (in my English). Because it’s easier to learn here.”

Plans for the future

Estevao feels that his adaptation has been successful and he is excited about his new life and training at 'Chelsea':

“This is the happiest moment of my life.”

He is now actively immersing himself in English culture and strives to use every opportunity to improve his football skills, taking into account the new challenges and demands that competitions at this new level present.
