PDC to address safety issues following whistle scandal at World Championship.
Increasing safety at the World Championship
According to The Sun: Ricardo Pieterecko shared his thoughts on the necessity of raising safety levels at the World Championship to prevent whistling from spectators. The German player fell victim to fans trying to distract him during matches, particularly in the second round against Dave Chisnall.
Scandalous Pieterecko, who previously accused Luca Littler of 'being a bit arrogant', now believes that the PDC must take measures to improve the situation.
“We need more security to stop the whistlers at the World Championship,” Pieterecko noted.
Pieterecko's statement underscores the importance of creating comfortable conditions for all participants in the competition. The experience of other major sporting events highlights the importance of monitoring spectator behavior, which helps maintain the sporting spirit and focus of athletes during competitions.
