eRecovery Changes the Rules: New Statement Without Waiting for Previous Closure.
According to inkorr.com: The process of obtaining compensation under the eRecovery program through the 'Diya' application has become easier. Now, homeowners who have been affected again by shelling or attacks can submit new applications without waiting for the completion of repairs or closure of the previous application.
'Previously, the owner of damaged housing had to complete repairs, submit a report, and wait for the closure of the previous application - only after that could a new one be submitted. This delayed new payments. Now, a new application can be submitted immediately - simply by recording new damages' - explained the agency.
To take advantage of the new opportunity, it is necessary to open the 'Repair Report' in the 'Diya' application for the already processed application, mark the item 'Property was damaged again', submit a new damage notification, and a new compensation application. The commission will come to the site, document new destruction, check the state of repairs, calculate the amount of compensation, and close the previous application.
Conditions for Receiving Compensation
'Reapplication is possible only after the account to which funds were received for the previous application is closed. Information about the active account will be displayed in the system. If there are unused funds in the account, they are automatically returned to the state budget. To receive new compensation, it is necessary to open a new account' - said the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development.
Currently, almost 145 thousand families have received compensation under the eRecovery program for a total amount of over 51 billion hryvnias. Over 116 thousand families have received funds for damaged housing amounting to 11.3 billion hryvnias.
Using the 'Diya' mobile application has become more convenient and faster for receiving compensation for damages. It allows submitting a new application in case of repeated housing damage without the need to wait for the closure of the previous one. It is also important to remember to close the account to receive the new compensation and to use the received funds correctly.
Thus, the innovations in the eRecovery system will significantly simplify the compensation process for those affected. This will not only speed up payments but also allow a larger number of people to receive assistance during this challenging time. It is important that everyone entitled to compensation takes advantage of the new opportunities.'
