European Delegation Arrives in Kyiv
According to Novyny.live: On March 31, 2026, a European delegation led by Kaja Kallas, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, arrived in Kyiv. The visit coincided with the anniversary of the liberation of the Kyiv region and a day of remembrance for victims of Russian aggression. The delegation aims to discuss further steps toward restoring justice.
During the visit, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha welcomed the guests, stating:
“Welcome to Kyiv, dear European friends, Kaja Kallas and fellow ministers from EU member states! Today we mark the anniversary of the Bucha massacre.”It is worth noting that four years ago, Ukraine’s armed forces began pushing the enemy out of the country’s northern regions, marking a crucial phase in the fight for territorial integrity.
Sybiha emphasized that this visit is 'a sign of true courage and solidarity with Ukraine.' Honoring the memory of the fallen and discussing future steps are vital for strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union in the areas of security and recovery.
The Significance of International Support
The European delegation’s visit to Kyiv underscores the importance of international support for Ukraine amid ongoing aggression. The EU’s efforts focus not only on restoring justice but also on enhancing regional security. The anniversary of the Kyiv region’s liberation and the commemoration of aggression victims serve as a reminder of the war’s horrors and the need for the international community to unite in ensuring stability and peace in Ukraine.
