According to The Sun: Former Chelsea defender David Luiz has reportedly sent threatening messages to a young social worker after she declined his proposal for a threesome meeting.

A court in Brazil has issued a restraining order to protect 26-year-old Fransiska Caroline Barbosa Cavalcante.

Fransiska went to the police, reporting threats on Instagram after her incident with Luiz. She stated that she refused an invitation for a threesome meeting, which led to the conflict.

Luiz, who is 38 years old, denies all allegations, claiming he did not threaten or meet with Cavalcante, but acknowledges that he communicated with her through Instagram.

Fransiska stated that in the received messages, Luiz allegedly reminded her of his 'money and power'. One of them mentioned that her son could 'suffer', while another sounded like: 'I can just make you disappear.'

She also noted that after the threats from Luiz became public, she started to feel a threat to her and her son's life, prompting her to change several residences out of fear of being followed.

Local media reports that Fransiska first met Luiz after he offered to stay at a hotel in Fortaleza, the capital of the state of Ceará.

Fransiska's lawyer, Fabiano Tavora, revealed that the hotels where she stayed cost from £140 per night, all expenses covered by the footballer. Less than a day after filing the police report, a restraining order was issued.

Luiz, who currently plays for the Cypriot club Paphos, claims he never met with Cavalcante in person and his legal team is handling the case.

Luiz gained fame for his performances in the English Premier League, where he played for Chelsea twice and Arsenal once, winning numerous trophies.
