Parents will need a big budget to purchase everything necessary - for example, a pencil case in Burberry's famous check pattern costs £210.
The set, which includes a hat, jacket, polo shirt, pants, socks, sneakers, backpack, and pencil case, totals £2,700.
A jacket for children aged 3 to 14 costs £1,050. Burberry describes it as:
“Inspired by our classic models, this jacket is made from water-resistant cotton gabardine.”
“The inner part is made of Burberry's check cotton, which has been used to line our jackets since the 1920s.”
At Asda, parents can spend just £67 per child, where two pairs of trousers cost £8, a skirt is £7, and shoes start at £11.
A mother of two, Joe Willock from Slough expressed her dissatisfaction: “I will need to borrow money to send my kids to school in Burberry.”
