Free vouchers for families in difficult situations
According to The Sun: Families facing difficult circumstances will receive free vouchers worth £70 to help purchase food during the Christmas holidays. Middlesbrough Council is distributing these vouchers this month as part of the Household Support Fund (HSF) program.
Each council in England has been allocated a share of £742 million from this fund to provide support to residents in need.
Middlesbrough Council reports that the vouchers are intended for anyone experiencing financial difficulties.
This initiative aims to support families going through financial hardships, especially during the holiday season. Authorities hope these vouchers will help people provide for themselves and their loved ones with essential groceries during the winter holidays.
