Financial Aid for Agricultural Producers
According to Novyny.live: Starting June 2, 2026, and running through July 2, farmers can apply for interest-free loans of up to 1 million hryvnias to expand their operations. This program targets farm enterprises, including family-run farms without official legal entity status, offering a critical boost to the agricultural sector.
Loan Eligibility and Terms
To qualify, applicants must have no outstanding tax debts, no history of bankruptcy, and no active sanctions. Additionally, they must confirm that their operations are not located in temporarily occupied territories. The maximum loan amount is 1 million hryvnias, with a repayment period of up to 5 years.
Funds from this initiative can be used for a variety of purposes, including:
- Purchasing machinery and equipment,
- Acquiring livestock,
- Constructing or renovating production facilities,
- Planting perennial crops.
The program aims to strengthen Ukraine's agricultural industry and foster growth in the farming sector.
This financial support scheme is especially significant given the ongoing challenges of war and economic instability, as it improves access to capital for small and medium-sized farms. By offering zero-interest loans, it helps enhance productivity and competitiveness while supporting rural communities—a key factor for the nation's food security.
