Financial expert named the minimum for survival in Ukraine: how much money is needed per month.
According to inkorr.com: Olena Yarova, an expert in financial literacy, emphasized that Ukrainians need to have at least 15-20 thousand hryvnias per month for each person to ensure minimal living conditions. According to her, incomes below this level will not cover basic expenses.
Housing and food expenses significantly impact the family budget. Even those who own their homes need to pay utility bills and purchase necessary furniture.
Families with children need even more funds - in such cases, each working adult should earn no less than 20 thousand hryvnias per month.
For comfortable existence, Ukrainians need an income of 30 thousand hryvnias, although most of the population receives only 15-16 thousand every month.
'Half of working Ukrainians earn less than they spend on basic necessities. This explains why many people complain that even with a high salary, they have to live from paycheck to paycheck,' - explained Yarova.
The expert recommends avoiding credits as a way to solve financial problems, as regular payments can become a serious burden and lead to a debt trap that is hard to escape from.
Yarova also noted that to meet basic needs in life in Ukraine, about 15-20 thousand hryvnias per month is necessary. However, most of the population, receiving only half of this amount, faces financial difficulties in covering necessary expenses.
This data highlights the difficult financial situation in the country, where even basic needs become hard to reach for many Ukrainians. The lack of sufficient income can negatively impact the quality of life, including education and health of the population. Given these circumstances, it is important to develop effective strategies to improve financial literacy and support the population.
