According to inkorr.com: The Decarbonization Fund issued its first loan for the thermomodernization of an apartment building in Lutsk. The homeowners association 'Molodi 6' received financial support from the Energy Efficiency Fund as part of the 'Energy Home' program.

“This is the first step in real interaction between two state institutions aimed at creating additional financial opportunities for the modernization of apartment buildings. From now on, active citizens who strive to make their homes warmer and more energy-efficient can receive even more support from the state. Citizen engagement and state partnership become a true formula for success in achieving sustainable changes in the housing sector” - reported the Energy Efficiency Fund.

The homeowners association plans to carry out energy modernization, which will include the insulation of the facade and roof, as well as the replacement of external doors. This will help reduce utility costs and increase living comfort. Domestic building materials are planned to be used for insulation, which will support Ukrainian manufacturers and contribute to the development of the national 'green' economy. The total budget of the project is 12.7 million hryvnias, part of the costs will be covered by a loan from the Decarbonization Fund of Ukraine on favorable terms.

In Lutsk, the first loan for thermomodernization of an apartment building has been issued, marking an important step in implementing the energy efficiency program in Ukraine. This project will not only improve the living conditions of residents but will also contribute to the development of national production and the green economy of the country.

The introduction of lending for thermomodernization is an important step towards energy efficiency in Ukraine. Other homeowners associations can take the example from 'Molodi 6' and also take advantage of new opportunities to improve their buildings, which in turn will strengthen the positive impact on the country's energy sector.
