According to The Sun: English Premier League legend Harry Kewell surprised everyone by becoming the manager of a new club.

Kewell, 47, gained fame playing for Leeds and Liverpool, where he won the Champions League and the FA Cup.

Later, he moved to Asia, where he worked with Yokohama Marinos for a year before leaving in 2024.

But the Australian specialist stayed in the East, taking a position in Hanoi.

Kewell has been appointed head coach of Hanoi in Vietnam's top division.

The club issued the following statement:

“Hanoi Football Club has officially appointed Mr. Harry Kewell – a former player of Liverpool, UEFA Champions League champion – as the head coach of the capital team.”

“With extensive experience in Europe as a player and coach, we hope Harry Kewell will bring new ideas that will elevate Hanoi's level in the national championship and contribute to success on the continent.”
