Noel Hunt sacked as Reading manager: club seeks new coach.
Manager's Dismissal at Reading
According to The Sun: Reading has sacked manager Noel Hunt after less than a year in charge. The former Irish international, aged 42, has left the team following a 1-1 draw with Doncaster. This result placed the Royals in 19th position in League One, just two points above the relegation zone.
Hunt was a fan favorite during his playing career under Steve Coppell. His appointment as manager generated significant interest among supporters.
“This is a difficult time for the club, and I am thankful for the support I received from our fans.”
Reading has set important goals for the season, and the new manager will be a key element in improving the team's results. Continuing the fight for survival in League One will be a priority, and the club hopes to swiftly find a suitable candidate for the head coach position to get the team back on the path to success.
