Nicky Hunt has begun his coaching career at the 10th level of British football

According to The Sun: Bolton legend Nicky Hunt has started his coaching career at the tenth level of British football. The 42-year-old specialist spent ten years at the Reebok club, also playing for Accrington Stanley, Leyton Orient, and Crewe. Now Hunt has taken over as head coach of the local club Daisy Hill in the North West Division.

Nicky Hunt shared:

“I grew up just five minutes walk from this place, and my parents still live in Daisy Hill, so it is very close to home for me. I used to come here to watch teams as a child, so I have a connection with this football club.”

He also noted:

“The club has always been family-oriented, and now it's probably even more so. The fans, committee members, and everyone involved in the club just love it to such an extent that it has become part of their life.”

Daisy Hill club is experiencing a rise in success after appointing Aaron Hunt, a Twitch streamer who previously managed the team in the game Football Manager. He emphasized:

“Everyone at the club is really excited to work with Nicky. He’s a local guy with a great career at a high level.”

Aaron also noted that Nicky has UEFA A License and knows the local non-league scene very well, having vast experience at all levels.

“We believe he is the right person for Daisy Hill, and exciting times await us starting from Saturday when we host Nelson.”
