Former Premier League forward Jonathan Benteke opens a donut shop.
From Football to Sweets
According to The Sun: Premier League striker Jonathan Benteke has retired from football and decided to open a donut shop. The Belgian, who played one match in the top division for 'Crystal Palace', came on as a substitute for his brother Christian in 2016 when he was playing for the team.
Besides 'Crystal Palace', Benteke also played for 'Oldham Athletic'. Now the athlete is focusing on a business in the confectionery sector, highlighting his new path in life through the opening of a culinary establishment.
“Instead of scoring goals, I am now ready to offer people delicious alternatives,' says Benteke.
This move indicates that Benteke is not afraid to change and open up new horizons after ending his sporting career. Opening a donut shop may not only be a new business challenge for him but also an opportunity to leave a mark in the culinary industry.
