Working from home: experts share how to boost productivity.
According to The Sun: Many people started working from home after the onset of the Covid pandemic. However, focusing on work, especially with children at home, can be harder than in an office.
GettyHere are some free tips to help you stay productive.
Find your space
Create a clean zone where you can work every day. This can be a dining table or a separate writing desk. You can often find tables or furniture for free on second-hand websites like Facebook Marketplace.
Routine
One of the benefits of working from home is the ability to stay in pajamas. However, taking a shower and getting ready for the day as if you were going to the office can help you get in the working mindset. When you have the habit of following a routine regularly, you are less likely to procrastinate and waste time.
Take breaks
Make sure to take breaks and step out of your workspace at certain intervals. Fresh air is very beneficial for rebooting your body and mind.
Use the time at home to prepare a delicious and nutritious lunch – it will be much cheaper than eating on the go.
Alternative office
If you find it hard to work from home, try changing your environment. Local libraries and many cafes offer free working spaces. For example, most Costa cafes have free Wi-Fi for visitors.
