Ukraine and France agreed on railway modernization: what will change.
According to inkorr.com: An important meeting took place at the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine with a delegation from the French National Railway Company (SNCF) led by President Jean-Pierre Farand and the French Ambassador to Ukraine, Gaël Veyssière.
Prospects for Cooperation
During the discussions, participants explored opportunities for enhancing cooperation between Ukraine and France in the field of railway transport. In particular, they focused on modernizing infrastructure, improving transportation, and adapting to European standards.
'Cooperation between Ukraine and France has enormous strategic potential. The French experience in implementing European legislation and developing passenger transport is extremely valuable to us,' said Deputy Minister Oleksiy Balesta.
Readiness for Partnership Development
The French delegation also confirmed its readiness to enhance partnerships and emphasized the importance of establishing closer ties between railway workers of both countries. Meeting participants agreed on further cooperation and experience sharing to improve operations in the railway sector.
Both countries have intensified discussions on possibilities for cooperation in railway transport, particularly regarding modernization and development of transportation. The parties are ready to continue cooperation and exchange experiences to enhance outcomes in this important field.
