Frank Bruno is recovering after illness
According to The Sun: Legendary boxer Frank Bruno shares that he has successfully returned to form after serious problems during a flight to the Middle East.
The 63-year-old athlete has started exercising daily, having found a new trainer to help regain physical endurance.

After several weeks of recovery, he returned to daily training after suffering from a serious viral illness.
“I feel really good now, much better than before,” Bruno said in an interview with Matchroom’s Modern Boxing Journal.
“I was flying to Thailand for a few shows, and shortly after takeoff, I started feeling unwell. By the time we landed in Qatar, I didn't even understand what was happening.
“All my memories were only about how I woke up in the hospital with IVs and tubes in my arms. I was in a hospital in Doha for two weeks before they allowed me to return to England.
“Then I was taken to a hospital in London for another two weeks where they said I had picked up some virus. It was very scary, I don’t remember a lot of what happened.”
“The doctors advised me to take a break, and as a result, we had to cancel several personal appearances.”
“But I was in the gym every day; I have a new trainer who is working extremely hard with me. She is really good.”
Frank Bruno, the former British heavyweight, suffered only five defeats in 45 fights in his career, so his recovery should not be surprising.
The 63-year-old athlete is now focused on his daily activities as a mental health advocate after a public struggle with bipolar disorder.
