Top players remain clubless: which stars are looking for a new team.
Transfers in the Premier League
According to The Sun: Premier League clubs spent over £3 billion on transfers this summer, setting a new record.
However, with the market closing on Monday, many players remain free agents.

Squad of free agents
There are so many talents that a balanced starting lineup of free agents could be assembled, including a Champions League winner and three former England stars with 73 caps for the national team.
Lukasz Fabianski could be the main goalkeeper after his contract was terminated with West Ham, where he played for seven years. Despite his age, the 40-year-old goalkeeper still has a few years of play ahead.
Right back will be Takehiro Tomiyasu from Arsenal, who, despite having a year left on his deal, terminated his contract with the club this summer.
His left partner will be Sergio Reguilon, who finally left Tottenham after several loans to Atletico Madrid, Manchester United, and Brentford.
Experienced defenders Craig Dawson and Kurt Zouma will complete the defense.
In midfield, the trio of Christian Eriksen, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Dele Alli truly evokes envy from other clubs and raises questions about why they haven’t been signed yet.

Eriksen rejected the opportunity to move to Walsall this summer, choosing to continue his career in Europe’s top division.
Oxlade-Chamberlain and Alli previously had contracts with Besiktas and Como that also recently expired, and are now awaiting new offers.
The 32-year-old Oxlade-Chamberlain, who played 35 matches for the England national team, impressed at Arsenal and Liverpool, however, he may have to lower his demands and move to the Championship.
On the other hand, the 29-year-old Alli, a former Tottenham star, also wants to return to regular matches, as he has played only one match of professional football since February 2023.
Indefatigable Willian looks set to take a place on the left flank in the free agents' team, having left Fulham for the second time after the end of the season.
He is likely to return to Brazil to finish his career.
Champions League winner Hakim Ziyech can occupy the right winger position on this team, as he is actively searching for a new club.

Ziyech, the winner of this tournament with Chelsea in 2021, remains a free agent after finishing his contract with Al-Duhail club in Qatar.
Leading the team is Patrick Bamford, who agreed to terminate his contract with Leeds United this summer due to a lack of playing time.
This 31-year-old player, who earned one cap for England, has been part of two teams that were promoted and scored 17 goals in the Premier League in a single season.
In addition to these 11 players, many other stars are also waiting for a new club, including 18-year-old Championship midfielder Josh Brownhill, former Newcastle player Jamal Lewis, and even former PSG and Barcelona star Raphinha.
Overall, this year has been quite eventful for transfers in the Premier League. During the summer window, clubs not only spent record amounts but also left many players without contracts. This creates an interesting situation in the market, where there is a hunt for new high-class opportunities.
In the new season, clubs will remain under pressure, as they need not only to accept new faces but also to take care of the playing form of the existing talents. Free agents could become important players for teams facing new challenges.
