Unfortunately, I was released due to my health condition. It happened that after our last missions, I could no longer take an active part in combat and spent a considerable amount of time in the hospital—almost four months. After nine months of examinations, I was discharged from service.

Since leaving the military, Halych has become deeply involved in public and human rights advocacy.
