Unexpected Defeat for Chelsea
According to The Sun: Liam Rosenior watched the match from the stands as Chelsea suffered a 1-2 defeat to Fulham. The new coach was stunned as interim manager Callum McFarlane failed to capitalize on the team's recent positive results following a draw with Manchester City.
Furthermore, the team will not have Marc Cucurella for Saturday's match against Charlton, as the Spaniard was sent off after an early foul.
“We should have produced a better result,” Rosenior noted.
This defeat came as an unpleasant surprise for Chelsea fans who were hoping for a continuation of the positive streak. Cucurella's absence will add challenges in the upcoming matches, and now the team must focus to get back on the winning path.
