Kamala Harris dismissed the possibility of bilateral negotiations with Russia without Ukraine

U.S. Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris categorically refused to conduct bilateral negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin without Ukraine's participation. In her interview with CBS News, she firmly stated: "On a bilateral basis without Ukraine - no. Ukraine must have a say in its future." Harris also emphasized the importance of adhering to international law and UN principles in resolving the conflict. She expressed her belief that ending the war will not be successful without Ukraine's participation and the UN Charter in determining the conditions.

This reflects the consistent position of the Biden administration in supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and its right to determine its future independently. The U.S. also expresses commitment to a multilateral approach in resolving international conflicts. Harris's statement clearly signals to Russia that any attempts to bypass Ukraine in the negotiation process will be rejected by the international community. She spoke amid global discussions about possible ways to peacefully resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
