The next meeting of the Contact Group in 'Ramstein' format
Shortly, the next meeting of the Contact Group in 'Ramstein' format will take place, dedicated to defense issues of Ukraine. Major General Christian Freuding, the coordinator of the aid office for Ukraine at the German Ministry of Defense, announced this during a briefing in Kyiv.
The meeting will be the 29th meeting of the defense ministers of the member countries of the Contact Group on Ukraine.
Previous meetings in the 'Ramstein' format have already been held, and the USA handed over coordination on this topic to the United Kingdom and Germany. It is expected that the meeting will be conducted under the leadership of these countries, as it was at previous meetings. Meetings in this format are aimed at coordinating military assistance to Ukraine and discussing security issues.
The 'Ramstein' format meeting is an important mechanism of cooperation to ensure the security of Ukraine and obtain necessary military support from partners. The continuation of such meetings can contribute to strengthening the country's defense capability in the context of escalating conflict in the East.
