Harris commented on the possible assassination attempt on Trump.

Vice President Kamala Harris stated that she is "concerned" and condemns "political violence" following the possible assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump on Sunday, reports CNN.

"I am deeply concerned about the possible attempt on the life of former President Trump. As we gather facts, I will be clear: I condemn political violence. We all must do everything possible to ensure this incident does not lead to further violence," Harris said.

The Vice President also noted: "I am grateful that former President Trump is safe. I express my gratitude to the U.S. Secret Service and law enforcement partners for their vigilance."

"As President Biden said, our administration will provide the Secret Service with all necessary resources, capabilities, and protection measures required for its critically important mission," Harris stated.

Recall, following the shooting at the golf course near Trump, special services, including the FBI, are investigating the possible assassination attempt on Trump.
