Philologist Olha Vasylieva has some notes regarding the pronunciation of the English sound [h] in the Ukrainian language. She recommends pronouncing it like [g], as there is a glottal sound [g] in the Ukrainian language, which has similar characteristics to the English [h].

She reveals that there is no sense in imitating Russians in the pronunciation of the sound [h], as Ukrainian has its own glottal sound [g]. Therefore, in the Ukrainian language, it is correct to pronounce and write words like 'gaiter', 'life hack', and 'harassment'. In English, [h] is used instead of [g].

Olha Vasylieva also warned about common mistakes in the Ukrainian language. For example, people often pronounce the words 'pidkazhit', 'zghidno z', and 'vidpovidno do' incorrectly. She also reminded that Ukrainian names do not have the suffix -ik, unlike Russian ones.

Oksana Zabuzhko also gave advice on using the correct language. She recommends that Ukrainians not copy Russians, especially in expressions of love. For example, she points out that each way of expressing love has its own particularities in Ukrainian and Russian languages.
