Over 1,376,000 Russian Troops Eliminated, Ukraine’s General Staff Reports.

According to Espreso.tv: Ukraine’s General Staff has released its latest battlefield assessment, detailing intense enemy activity across multiple front-line sectors as of June 9, 2026. On the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, one combat engagement occurred alongside 66 artillery strikes against Ukrainian positions. In the South-Slobozhanskyi sector, Ukrainian forces repelled ten assaults, while on the Kupiansk front, they halted five enemy attempts to advance.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces launched 18 efforts to breach Ukrainian defenses. The Sloviansk area saw 14 assault operations, and the Kramatorsk front recorded one thwarted enemy attack. On the Kostiantynivka axis, 12 offensives were stopped. The Pokrovsk sector witnessed the highest intensity, with Ukrainian troops neutralizing 50 assault actions. Five attacks occurred near Oleksandrivka, while the Huliaipole front faced 34 enemy pushes. Four attempted advances were blocked in the Orikhiv direction, and the Prydniprovskyi sector remained quiet with no offensive moves from the adversary.
Enemy Losses and Front-Line Situation
The situation on the Volyn and Polissia fronts remains stable, with no signs of Russian offensive groupings being formed. Since February 24, 2022, through June 9, 2026, total Russian combat losses have reached approximately 1,376,320 personnel. Equipment losses include:
- 12,001 tanks
- 24,710 armored fighting vehicles
- 43,639 artillery systems
- 1,851 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS)
Additionally, Russia has lost 1,411 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, and 353 helicopters. Ground robotic complexes destroyed number 1,614 units, while tactical-level UAVs total 338,327. In terms of missile losses, 4,733 cruise missiles have been eliminated. The Russian Navy has lost 33 ships and boats, as well as 2 submarines. Motor vehicles and fuel tankers destroyed amount to 104,796 units, with 4,253 pieces of specialized equipment also taken out.
Overall, the current front-line situation reflects ongoing aggressive operations by Russian forces, alongside the significant toll these actions have taken on their military capabilities due to Ukrainian resistance.
