Horse Racing: Overview of the Weekend's Major Events and Predictions for the Winners.
Major Races This Weekend
According to The Sun: This weekend promises to be unforgettable with thrilling races. Choose your favorite among numerous participants: from Group 1 sprinters to contenders for the Arc. Don’t forget about the exciting competitions at Ascot and Haydock.
Chappers sums up the big weekend of racingNews Group Newspapers Ltd.The highlight will be the 24-hour Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe race at Kempton, featuring Kalpana, the title defender in the Group 3 September Stakes. Among her competitors is Hong Kong Cup holder Javalletto, who has repeatedly proven his strength in races.
Trainer Andrew Balding's star is usually favored with odds of 6-1 for the Arc, and she will need to show a convincing win to maintain this position under the watchful eye of spectators on ITV. Kalpana finished second in the King George VI race last time out.
Other Important Races
Three additional races will take place in Longchamp for the Arc: Prix Foy, featuring Sosi (fourth last year) and Los Angeles, the former third in the Derby. In Prix Vermeille, Arc finalist Aventure and Wild, who finished third in the Oaks, will compete.
Additionally, Longchamp will host the Group 1 Prix du Moulin, where Rosallion will attempt to secure victory after several disappointing performances.

Predictions for Haydock and Ascot
Haydock
1.15 Checkandchallenge each-way
1.50 Bow Echo
2.25 Fantasy World each-way
3.00 Caballo De Mar each-way (NAP)
3.35 Kind Of Blue each-way
Kempton
1.35 Kalpana
2.05 Dragon Icon each-way
Ascot
2.40 Native Warrior
3.15 Tenability
The main race at the Group 1 Betfair Sprint Cup in Haydock will feature Lazat, who surprised everyone with his victory at the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes but lost at the Prix Maurice de Gheest. Despite his winning chances, personally, I am more interested in his mate KIND OF BLUE (3.35), who has a decent rating though starting from high numbers in Haydock does not always favor him.
Kind Of Blue impressed with his performance at Curragh, and under the guidance of Danny Muscutt, he has every chance of a positive outcome. It’s also worth noting that Kieran Shoemark continues to gain form with Time For Sandals, who is improving with each start.
At Ascot, they will compete in the Shweppes Cup, where Native Warrior, according to analysts, has a chance for a good performance due to Jamie Spencer’s expertise.
Choose with Caution
It is important to remember responsible play:
- Set time and financial limits before playing;
- Only play with money you can afford to lose;
- Do not try to win back losses;
- Do not play if you are upset, angry, or depressed;
Your well-being is a priority!
This weekend will be a true celebration for horse racing fans: prestigious competitions in Kempton, Haydock, and Ascot will attract the attention of thousands of spectators. Choose your favorite, support your beloved horses, and enjoy the racing in a friendly atmosphere. May luck be on your side!
