Popular dietary injections have reduced sales: bakery chain raised prices.
Price increase at Greggs
According to The Sun: Greggs has raised the price of its famous sausage rolls. The company's management believes that changes in consumers' eating habits, particularly due to fat injections, have led to a decrease in their purchasing power. The cost of the popular item has increased from £1.30 to £1.35 in most stores.
This is the second time in six months that the company has implemented a price increase, which has been a result of rising costs.
“Fat injections are changing our eating habits,” claims management.
The price increase at Greggs is driven by global changes in the food market, specifically the rise in costs of raw materials and other resources. Consumers are paying attention to changes in pricing policies, forcing companies to adapt to new market conditions. This case illustrates how fluctuations in the market can influence customers' usual preferences and their finances.
