Hollyoaks star calls for no attendance at stepfather's funeral: detectives believe he is the murderer.
According to The Sun: Callum and his sister Amanda Kerr also want their mother not to be commemorated at the funeral of the man.
British expats Andrew and Dawn Kerr died by suicide in February in France.
Financial expert Andrew was found hanged, while Dawn suffered multiple head injuries.
Police initially investigated the case as a murder linked to his former employer, but they are now considering it as a murder followed by suicide.
Callum and his sister wrote in a social media statement: 'It would be inappropriate to associate her memory with a ceremony honoring a man who, based on all available information, could be responsible for her death.'
They emphasized that the assumption remains murder followed by suicide, and there is no evidence of third-party involvement.
They plan to climb Mount Etna in Sicily on the day that would have been their mother's 58th birthday.
A fundraising page in their mother's name in support of the charity Women's Aid has raised over £3,400.
'In February our mom passed away. There are no words to describe how this has affected us. We hope this challenge brings goodness to the world in her name. We want to create something that reflects her true nature and changes what people see when they search for her name. This is for Dawn Kerr always,' the statement said.

He has over 135,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and he released a new track Cold Beer Cold just a few hours after his mother's death.
