Arrested at the Border with Counterfeits: 20 Thousand Dollars for Fake Documents.
Fraudster at the Border: Attempt to Leave with Fake Documents
According to inkorr.com: Recently, border guards detained a 26-year-old fraudster from Kherson region at the car checkpoint 'Mogiliv-Podilskyi'. He attempted to leave the country by presenting counterfeit business trip documents.
According to the legend, the 'seconded specialist' was supposed to go to Bulgaria for retraining. However, during the inspection, the man could not provide coherent answers regarding the activities of the company. Eventually, he admitted that he had bought the fake documents for 20 thousand U.S. dollars.
The border guards noted that, lacking proper confirmations of the company's activities, the man tried to convince them by providing booking documents, orders for employment at the installation company, and service.
However, his attempts were unsuccessful, and the issuance of a pass was denied. This information was passed on to the police, as it may fall under Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding counterfeiting documents.
Thus, the man found himself in a difficult situation due to his attempt to leave with counterfeit documents, for which he will now have to answer before the law.
This situation vividly demonstrates how important it is to comply with legislation when crossing the border. In Ukraine, there is a continuing fight against fraud, and border guards are actively identifying violators attempting to deceive the system. This is also a call to all citizens to be vigilant and not to fall for fraudulent schemes.
