Littler initially looked hopeless but managed to elevate his game in the third set and turn the match in his favor.
He broke Price's serve and led 1-0 and quickly started the second set, while Price failed to hit the double.
Price missed his first six attempts to hit a double, while Littler demonstrated his skill and hit a 180, leaving only 134 to win the set.
At the crucial moment of the set, Price decided to practice and attempted to hit double 13, which outraged the commentator.
"Am I understanding this right: Gerwyn Price hit double 13 with his second dart and then thought: 'Hmm, I’ll practice on 13 because I missed.' That’s what he’s doing! He gives up the set to practice on double 13."
Littler won that set and then another to level the match.
Later, he brought the game to the deciding set in which Price could not remain calm and missed three darts for a place in the semifinals.
The match went to the final set, and Price again struggled to hit the double.
However, he had the chance to win, but Littler finished the match with an impressive 152 finish, securing him a spot in the semifinals on Saturday.
"That was very strange. Of course I wasn’t composed when I was down 0-2."
"In the first two sets, I kept aiming at the darts. I couldn’t hit a double. My neck definitely feels sorry for that!
"I was leading 2-0 and thought I would surely shoot for the match on my throw. I told myself it simply has to work, and it did."
