“I want to finish Usyk”: Dubois threatened the Ukrainian boxer.
IBF Champion Daniel Dubois intends to take revenge on Oleksandr Usyk, he said in a comment for BoxNation.
With Usyk, we have unfinished business. I want to beat him. This time I will do everything right. This fight will be a meeting of unified world champions, it will be a big event
It is worth noting that Usyk defeated Dubois in August 2023. The Ukrainian knocked out the Briton early in the 9th round. It should be added that Daniel won the IBF championship belt on the night of September 21-22 after an early victory over Anthony Joshua.
Recall that Usyk became the first absolute world boxing champion in the heavyweight division.
Fighting maniac Tyson Fury, former world boxing champion in the heavyweight division, promised to approach the rematch with Usyk decisively.
The Briton stated that his only goal is a knockout. He does not believe that he can win on points, so his plan is to finish the fight early.
The rematch between Usyk and Fury will take place on December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This will be their second fight after the first meeting, in which Usyk won by split decision in May 2024.
