According to inkorr.com: Croatia revoked the visa of wrestler Emin Sefershayev on the eve of the World Championships in Zagreb, as reported by Glavkom.

The President of the Russian Wrestling Federation noted that the Ukrainian's visa had been revoked. He was supposed to participate in the competitions as part of the Russian Greco-Roman wrestling team, scheduled from September 13 to 21.

'The Embassy of Croatia has revoked Emin Sefershayev's visa. We will know the exact reason for the refusal on Monday. It is very difficult to seek justice in this situation. The athlete is a European champion, and it is clear that all sorts of denunciations began,' said Mikhail Mamiashvili.

Traitor and support of aggression

Emin Sefershayev, a Crimean Tatar, chose to represent Russia on the international stage after the annexation of Crimea. He actively supports Russia's aggressive actions against Ukraine. The athlete was seen communicating with Russian propagandist media and participated in propaganda events.

To confirm his support, last year he participated in a tournament in honor of a Russian war criminal. After winning this tournament, he was photographed against the backdrop of a portrait of the killer and wore a medal with his image on his chest.

Furthermore, on social media, he published photos with geolocation in Russia and occupied Crimea. By marking his active support for Russian aggression, the visa revocation became an adequate response from Croatia to his actions.

Thus, Croatia revoked Emin Sefershayev's visa, emphasizing his sympathies for Russian aggression and his choice to represent Russia after the annexation of Crimea, which became grounds for banning his entry to its territory.
