Consumer group Which? warns that users of Apple Pay and Google Wallet banking apps could become victims of fraudsters due to faulty security protocols. They point out that most banks use one-time access codes, which leaves customers vulnerable to fraud attacks. Additionally, there is no transaction limit on cards added to digital wallets, allowing scammers to quickly drain the victim's account once they gain access. Experts advise customers to be cautious and keep their confidential payment data and one-time access codes away from strangers.
