Who will win the UEFA Champions League title this season? Analysts identified the favorites.

The favorites of the 2024/2025 Champions League in football were determined by analysts from Opta. In the competitions, which will involve 36 clubs, 10,000 simulations were conducted on a supercomputer.

As a result of this simulation, Opta named "Manchester City" (25.3%) as the favorite to win the Champions League this season. In second place is "Real Madrid" (18.2%), which is the defending champion. Italian "Inter" ranks third with a percentage of 10.9%.

Also among the top five favorites are England's "Arsenal" (6.3%) and Germany's "Bayer" (5.4%).

Among the debutants, "Girona" has the best chances for a decent result after an impressive campaign in La Liga last year. They are considered more likely winners of the tournament than "Milan." However, this suggests that the system is unfair to the "Rossoneri."

Donetsk's "Shakhtar" has zero chances of winning the trophy, according to Opta's forecast. "Shakhtar's" chances of making the playoffs are estimated at 3.9%, which is the second-lowest among all clubs, except for Slovak "Slovan" (1.2%).
