Large-scale project in London: 25 thousand new homes and 10 thousand jobs.
Reconstruction plan in Southeast London
According to The Sun: Thousands of new residential houses are planned to be built in Southeast London as part of a thirty-year regeneration program. The total budget for the project will be £18 billion, and this initiative will see up to 25,000 new housing units constructed in two neglected areas by the river.
Creation of new jobs
Transport for London (TfL) also reported that this large-scale project could create around 10,000 new jobs.
“It is important for us to provide residents with new quality homes and job opportunities,” project representatives stated.
The initiative aims not only to improve living conditions but also to modernize infrastructure, create contemporary living and working conditions, and serve as a significant milestone in the development of this part of the city.
The reconstruction plan in Southeast London reflects the desire to strike a balance between modernizing urban infrastructure and meeting the needs of residents. If successfully implemented, this project could serve as an example for other cities seeking sustainable development and to enhance the quality of life for their inhabitants.
